when i bet in a race you advertise 4 places i expect to get paid if my horse is 4th .i wouldnt have had a bet in a 16 runner hcap. if you were paying 3 places . so there was a non runner which left 15 runners .you should still pay 4 places .this is a disgraceful online betting site totally stacked against the punter and i will never bet or recommend this site to anyone .

It's standard bookmaker policy to reduce the number of places in the event of NRs.

I presume you're talking Sportsbook rather than Exchange?

Unfortunately, you would have had the same experience whichever bookmaker you used. As others have said, if you want guaranteed place terms, you need to use the place markets on the Exchange.
