How come they have 4 presenters. Surely it's too many as they all have to do their talking. It would be better having more interviews with jockeys or trainers

They seem to be trying to connect with a younger audience. When will they realise that young people aren't watching in the first place!

Then there's Chapman announcing that 'People are watching the Juddmont Intnl. all over the World on ITV'. What a load of nonsense.

the younger people only go to racing for a massive piss up and concert, they dont even notice if theres horses running

Why is anyone watching the lamentable ITV coverage?

I think 90% of the ITV coverage is excellent.
The 10% can be eliminated by recording it.
2 options if you want an afternoon watching the good bits give it 45 mins and then start watching or do what I do and pour a glass in the evening and enjoy the good bits.

You can't produce a programme about a topic unless you understand  the topic. Quick quiz for the programme's senior producers: Racing exists (a) For the glamour  (b) For the personalities   (c) For the chat  (d) To increase the amount of the banal on television (e) For betting? 

I guarantee they would not know.

ITV have undoubtedly exceeded expectations.  Being a commercial TV Channel you can't expect them to produce a 'dry' (Racing TV) style programme as viewers would turn off in droves. It's all a bit grating for those of use who have no interest in social media but these are the times in which we live.  The only improvements they need to make imo are to bring someone in who knows about betting (as Chapman clearly bluffs his way through and does no prep whatsoever), tell Chamberlin to cut out the sycophancy and drop Fitzgerald and Plunkett - that would make ITV Racing about as good as it could realistically be.

At least employ a main presenter who actually knows about horse racing, and not fawning. And, I'm being kind!
