Kitty's cove was idling and well on top and came from behind the 2nd. No chance Deposit would have won without the interference. However, the recent high profile given to interference and stewards enquiries means it will probably go.

Betfair know exactly what they're doing.
They think they know what they're doing but the liquidity is far lower in the specials markets so new players cba.

I take your point, but not only do betfair keep all the commission from the original market, but they get a whole new lot from punters like Virgin, laying off. They'd lose all of that if they kept the original market open.

We'll never know for sure, dave. But after 20 years of profit, betfair should know by now which one does better for them - original market or new market.

How do we know it's not the idiot who lazily just re-opens the original market? It might be the genius who's the one who closes it and sets up a new one to rake in more commission.
