How much are you trying to withdraw, mate? Can get £500 a day instantaneously on a VISA direct payment.
By:
Is any of the delay due to the banks? Recently withdrew at the same time to 2 banks and one arrived into the account 24 hours before the second one.
By:
My experience with withdrawals is the first 2 in a day will be in my account instantly, or within 2 hours, but a 3rd withdrawal on that day will be in my account within 2-5 days.
By:
It's all about the total withdrawn within 24 hrs, Ali. Up to £500 per day max via instant VISA direct payment. Everything else takes longer.

You can take money out?
By:
Use the standard bank transfer option (free) under the "alternative methods" tab. Hits my bank (Lloyds) by lunchtime the following day without fail.

By:
As jamme says elisejohn, alternative is use paypal and confirm with them and BF a decent level of deposit/withdrawal below the money laundering regs, usually with paypal inside 12 hours and 5-9k no issues immediately then to your bank.

By:
I and 98% of users don`t even know where the withdrawal button is.

bank 3 days..paypal next day then transfer straight to bank.

honest purple, 365, even betway next day

You're allowed 2 x£500 instant WDs to a laser card per day. If you want to WD more quickly, then wait til the next day and do the same. Only certain banks have this facility but it's in the account immediately. Must be a laser card bank account. If you want to WD eg 3k you'd be better off doing 1k a day for 3 days like this.

betfair are ranked number 471 in the top world 1000 online gambling companies (on time paying out).based on processing procedure .its on the net if you wish to check it out.
By:
its the official league tables of companies on online gambling in the world.top 1000 and top 2000.they even have a customer care league table"what's a customer care league table some people may ask?"
but its very good and it goes into all the aspects of gambling with an online company and all the companies are ranked and updated ,ust like a football league table, but its worth a look to pass the time ,and it shoots from the hip. |

What is most annoying is that before Covid, all withdrawals made before 10pm were in my bank the following day. Betfair subsequently altered their policy and held the money for an additional day. They are a bunch of bastards!
By:
The thing I don't understand is that surely it is a little short sighted from them as sometimes customers will want to put money in and have to wait a couple of days for the money they have withdrawn before they can go again
By:
Just did one of these (£500 only) and curiously it didn't process instantaneously. It's gone into a holding pile....

They manually process withdrawals .. can take 12 hours or more . It should be instant

It usually is instant for a £500 VISA direct payment

Takes 2/3 days regardless of Amount , Paypal a few hours
By:
Why would you need the money in less than 4 or 5 days.
Thought everyone on here was loaded. |
By:
Mine are instead unless it's late at night or after midnight then takes 2/3 days don't know why.

Has anyone used Skrill before? it's an alternative to Paypal and betfair support it I think?

Was always told that delays are down to your own bank. TSB are the pits
By:
^ Totally untrue. Betfair have grabbed an day's extra interest on all their withdrawals.
By:
Perhaps the solution to the problem is to just set up a direct debit with betfair instructing them to send a grand a week to your bank account every Monday morning regardless of weather you win or lose, that should sort the problem out.

I'm an expert on the standard withdrawal method and like everything else with Betfair they are behind everyone else.
In the summer months like now, if you withdraw anything before 11.00 pm it will leave your account at 12.01 am and be in your bank 3 days later. Example - you make a withdrawal at 9.00 pm or 9.00 am on Monday, it leaves at 12.01 am Tuesday (you lose the whole of Tuesday for that 1 minute) and it will be in your bank in two working days, meaning you'll get it Thursday. If you make a withdrawal after 11.00pm it will sit in your account the whole of the following day until 12.01 the next night. Example - you make a withdrawal at 11.30 pm on Monday, it sits in your account until 12.01 am Wednesday when again you lose that day for just that 1 minute and it will be in your bank on Friday! So as long as you withdraw before 11.00pm they will hit your bank as follows (The weekend non working days mean you'll wait even longer than 3 days if you withdraw on Thursday/Friday/Saturday) Monday - Thursday Tuesday - Friday Wednesday - Saturday Thursday - Tuesday Friday - Tuesday Saturday - Tuesday Sunday - Wednesday The annoying thing is that in the winter months when the clocks go back you can take a day off everything above, only Betfair can explain why that is, it's obviously something to do with them not updating their clocks when the time changes I presume. SO in the winter you have to withdraw before 10.00pm, it leaves at 11.01pm the same day and you don't lose that full day for 1 minute. So as long as you withdraw before 10.00pm it will hit your bank as follows : Monday - Wednesday Tuesday - Thursday Wednesday - Friday Thursday - Saturday Friday - Tuesday Saturday - Tuesday Sunday - Tuesday. Sorry to be long winded but it saves people from having to guess when they'll get their money. |
By:
i have always thought if the weather is sunny ,the payments be delayed for some reason, but in Winter you get the payment within two days, the betfair payments department must work better or they are more officiant at processing in Winter.

Any withdrawl I ever make be it from Betfair, Lads, Hills, Corals, PP always take a min of 3 days to reach my bank. When I contacted TSB about fast funds they advised me that it is something they may introduce at some point but don't operate at present. Assume that some banks already do?
By:
i wonder if the people who do the processing in the payments department were told "you will get your wages for the week in 2 to 5 working days depending on the processing time "would they be happy.

I started a thread on here a few weeks ago,I normally expect my withdrawals on the third working day,but on that occasion it didn’t hit my a/c until the 6th working day(co op bank).

Just did one of these (£500 only) and curiously it didn't process instantaneously. It's gone into a holding pile.... I think the max you can do now is £300 for an instant withdrawal and up to 2 (2x£300) in a 24 hour period |

Cheers, G
Will have a bash at that later! |
