Just seen the add in today's RP that the Tote are now accepting 1p perms for the placepot , wonder if the shops will do the same ?

Just checked Tony, as long as your total stake is 50p or more then you can do a 1p Jackpot as well.

1p jackpot is a good idea but they have to make the bet so much more difficult to win
and declare the winning dividend to a 10p stake. Most punters would prefer 2000 chances to win £2000 than 20 chances to win £200,000 At the moment 1p only available on Totes owm site so probably will see no difference. 1p placepots could see the size of the pools decrease slightly. |

Be nice if they allowed even 5p lines for the Scoop too, make it more affordable to do perms. At least the Tote are trying something different with the 1p lines, I've done pots I wouldn't normally do this week now

@JML -- can't see why pools will shrink.
But by allowing smaller punters to do more lines including more rags, we should see: 1) big dividends are a bit lower because there will be more winning lines 2) fewer rollovers for the same reason 3) low dividends are a bit bigger because some of the money that would have gone on "all favs" or "mostly favs" will now be on outsiders |
