Hi, Can anybody explain this one please....

I've been experimenting with a bot, placing *don't laugh* 0.10p stakes on outsiders - both win and place.
(The tiny stakes are because this is me experimenting)

I was on Skyace today.

Here's the win bet (check the odds)....

I've just looked at my P&L so far today, and this is what it looks like.....

Selection
Odds    Stake (£)    Bid type    Placed    Profit/Loss (£)
Skyace
    19.50    0.10    Back
20-Jul-20 11:08
    1.26
*Average odds: On Off
Back subtotal:     1.26
Lay subtotal:     0.00
Market subtotal:     1.26
Commission @ 2.38%:     0.03
Net Market Total:     1.23

I backed this at 19.50!

The place bet.....

Selection
Odds    Stake (£)    Bid type    Placed    Profit/Loss (£)
Skyace
    7.40    0.10    Back
20-Jul-20 11:08
    0.39
*Average odds: On Off
Back subtotal:     0.39
Lay subtotal:     0.00
Market subtotal:     0.39
Commission @ 2.56%:     0.01
Net Market Total:     0.38

I backed this at 7.40!

Am I being thick, or is there something not quite right here??

Was Barrington Court already a NR when you placed your bet, or W/D afterwards?

I've just looked into my 'Settled' bets and there's a massive RF, which I believe stands for 'Reduction Factor?' Oh well..... Thanks by the way.
