Even without any dodgy dealings, the market (ie punters and pundits) overreacts to the choice of the stable jockey and prices them up as: Stable Jockey Evens; Second String 10/1 or 20/1 or 50/1.
But we do not know if the choice was made on the basis of a pound between them, or a stone. Or even, as with Ryan Moore's Derby mount, if the jockey has even seen the horses he is choosing between because he is stuck in the wrong country. |
