Mark Walsh odds on, but I reckon that Jonjo jnr has got to be in the running. I saw 1st hand at Cheltenham some years back that JP and Jonjo Snr are very good friends and Jonjo Jnr is an excellent young jockey.

Jonjo jnr fits the Mcmanus thinking. My metaphorical bet would be the young Irishman going placing and friend of the family.

Jonjo jnr riding style like B Geraghty is totally unsuited to the vast majority of JPs horses which are slowboats which need strengh

Is being Irish a prerequisite? JP is known to be a punter. Both question and observation are independent and un-related.

He's going to want a jockey for the long term, Johnson is probably 10 years too late.
Older than Bazza. Still, JP is no spring chicken. Tbh if I were advising JP I'd say take one of the Harrys but I'm not. The market is on who he will pick, not who he should pick.

The two luckiest guys who've ever ridden. Bog average jockeys. That's the standard though I suppose in the UK presently.
