Moores , the English version of the Walshes ...

The race earlier that Gavin Sheehan won, anyone(Hunt is just as complicit as Moore here) could see that Sheehan moved his horse past the one in front of him as that horse kept jumping right and putting his off. But Moore made a big thing of him doing it to use the horse's stamina, which was nonsense (and clueless Hunt agreed with her). When Sheehan was interviewed he confirmed that the move was just to get past the horse in front. She then said something like yeah I saw that. Ridiculous.

Seems to have found a perfect niche if she is as moderate as you seem to think

All achieved on her own ability.

She is so lazy, he other day at Lingfield a horse was withdrawn at the start and she, despite being on track, and presumably with a racecard to hand, had no idea that despite being declared in blinkers he was behind the stalls about to be loaded with no head gear in sight.

as she is the only moron the racing channels, the walsh comparison is inaccurate. but she is prodigiously unintelligent. i like listening to the walsh mob when i get to see rte.

Nepotism the Walshs and Moores I what I meant grappier...

Hayley went up in my estimation when she caught that loose horse at Chepstow last year.
By:
Yes but there was no conversation required

And the horse was far better looking than her

By:
Yes, she hasn’t a clue. Keeps using the word competitive. Never thought I’d say it, but would rather listen to Mick Fitzgerald. Does no study, other day said trainer was going well, he was 0-41 from start of racing again. Complete idiot.

By:
She's just brave eye candy..
By:
Candy would be better !!!
By:
Harvey no better. Tipping up a non runner just as they start, ffs!
By:
Yes what we need is Chapman shouting and hollering about Group 1 winning jockeys and Classic winning trainers and tipping 11/4 shots each way.
By:
I like her.
By:
Can just imagine a day on ATR that includes Moore, Chapman, Mapletoft, Boyce and Hunt. Head in hands man becomes head in rope man.

By:
chuck in Apiafi for a full house
By:
Have the mis-fortune to see her quite a lot on Coral TV..... She looks rough as a bears **** most of the time, like she's getting over a very heavy night before.....Totallly unprofessional..
By:
Didn't know she did the bookie stuff as well. Jeez, definitely worse than Fitzgerald so. No wonder she sounds like a robot.
By:
Which one of them doesn't state the obvious whilst sitting on a fence post ?
As for Apiafi at Royal Ascot what was that all about ? |
By:
I am pretty sure she reads The Forum...Good work lads.

I prefer her to Harvey but that isn't saying much. It just about sums the standard of presenters when someone so dire can win broadcaster of the year. Every afternoon he is on it is wall to wall bumming up every trainer and jockey.
By:
None of them bother me at all apart from Chapman who I find unbearable.
By:
I like her - she's been around horses all her life and a lot of the things she says about confirmation and disposition are worth listening to.
I'd rather hear from her than the endless Timeform drones, relentlessly trying to be objective in a sport where, if you're having a bet, subjectivity is the only possible end point. |
By:
she's a sweetheart. much too good for you lot.
By:
Chapman doesn't bother me at all, he is misconstrued imo.
Hayley's monotone codswallop is somewhat annoying though. |
By:
Misconstrued?..........Misconstructed more like!
By:
Not easy this broadcasting business. There have been some notable catastrophes on terrestrial and racing channels alike.
I think she does a fine job, asks relevant questions and knows her stuff. |
By:
sparrow, you don't think Chappers takes himself seriously?
What specifically annoys you? |
By:
If you don't know by now, we certainly ain't gonna enlighten you.
By:
I like her, find her ok.

You have to remember they are all mates. I am old enough to remember Jimmy Lindley commentating when every race he bummed up every jockey and trainer in the race. If you listened to him you would think no one could ever make a wrong decision or be out of form. Only Chapman for me, tells it like it is. If a jockey makes a balls up he will be the first to say so, the others, Moore, Harvey etc just give excuse after excuse . The Derby is a prime example. When three rank outsiders are in the first three places in a race of so called champions you have to look at how they were allowed to by so called top jockeys.. Even if the winner was a hidden superstar, the second and third aren't .
