13.50 Newcastle: Money Back As Cash If Your Horse Finishes 2nd or 3rd (T's & C's apply)

Seems like a good deal, yes? However NO BOG for the race and Mubakker of instance 11/8 when track market with all other bookies were 7/4. Is Skybet no longer taking prices from from track?

Also I've noticed several times recently when trying to get a bet down the price shortens and I am asked to accept yet if I reject it goes back to the bigger price straightaway. No good.

How can they take the price from the track ffs?
Report Storm Alert June 27, 2020 2:12 PM BST
The prices being offered by bookies on track just before the race from which the SP is still calculated. Sorry if I wasn't being clear.

Scum, steer clear of them

The bookies were offering 7/4 or 13/8 according to TV and B365, Betfair Sports, PaddyPower to name three, were all showing 7/4 for about 5mins. Skybet steady on 11/8 SP returned 13/8f.

they def are slippy when it comes to these offers - they had a 6 places on a particular race but prices cut as a result, so I tried to place at SP, they simply wouldn't accept any bets.  WH had a similar great offer (on the triumph hurdle) iirc with similar short prices, but happy to accept bets at SP.

Laugh Good point. How is SP being calculated atm; I mean Skybet seem to be doing their own thing on prices near the off (normally a bit shorter). I know when BlueSQ started doing that they soon went bust.

they are taken from the average of the major bookmakers, so you could avoid short prices on these offers by taking SP, but I doubt that will work with skybet who btw are now part of the betfair group (flutter).
