Does anybody know if this has now been removed. I can see the pending withdrawals but there appears to be no cancel button anymore?

Recent Covid legislation has temporarily (read permanently) banned it.

Legislation passed now prevents withdrawal requests cancelled by bookies and imo rightly so. They used to hold on to your cash for days who'll e sending messages saying, "You have no funds in your account, but you can cancel your impending withdrawal". Which they hope you do and l rose the lot, which the majority of punters, including myself, have done in the past. Glad it's been terminated.

I'm a fan of the lock withdraw option myself, once you click that its done

The problem with not having the option of cancelling it is that you might notice another bet you want to place after

Although there's been times as mac says above that I've blown the lot after cancelling and totally regretted it, but that was slots not sports

Casino sites are pulling out of the UK market because they can no longer have the withdraw pending for 2 days Crazy

These sites are filthy and need looking into

The next thing that should be looked at is withdrawal times. I notice that Betfair have started clearing the pending withdrawals just after midnight now and not 11pm, the result of this is an additional day for funds to hit the account. Very sly and customer unfriendly imo. Slybet have your money back in your account in 2 hours so why cant this mob?

Think it depends which bank, isn’t there one where it’s virtually instantaneous.

Up to £500 a day can be withdrawn with BF which takes about 15 mins.

Costs £6 for the previlege though. I withdrew £400 on Thursday morning at 10.48am and will have to wait til late tomorrow evening for it to hit my account, before they changed the withdrawal process time (from 11pm to just after midnight) that would have been in my account on Friday evening which is a big difference.

It doesn't cost £6.

Been withdrawing £500 max per day, taking about 15 mins, to my Nat West account for about a year.

Maybe it depends on your bank?

I think you are right on which bank it is, mines Santander and I dont think they are one of them that do this, Nationwide is one that does (anyone confirm?).
Why some banks are different seems ridiculous to me as I thought they were all suppose to operate by the same rules.

I did try to use Paypal once and had an issue were they wouldnt release the funds straight away so never used them again.

I think I had the same issue when I 1st tried using paypal.

From memory, it was a security/verification thing for that 1st withdrawal.

After that, it was ok for subsequent withdrawals.

Stick with Paypal, once your first withdrawal goes through its instant from a fully verfied Paypal bank account.

I always use a standard bank transfer (no fee) under the 'alternative methods' tab takes only about 12 business hours. The instant refund to card only applies up to a certain amount and only a handful of banks so far.

That is complete bullshit Trident, not yet a single bookie doing immediate transfer to paypal, that said it is a better alternative than any of the bank withdrawals,a few hours to 12 hours average. If you require withdrawn funds btw, stopping the reversal process probably the next sensible thing to banning credit cards.

I qualify the above from emails from my people putting on for me,stand to be corrected.

Paypal withdrawal can take 6 to 12 hours, depending on the bookie.

BF Visa debit withdrawal is instant.
