Given that he always starts the turf season off with his horses fit as fleas I find that hard to believe. May be that in teh past he has been gifted a lot of early-season wins as his rival trainers haven't had thier horses forward. Not so this season.

certainly his 2yos don't seem to improve as much as others from 1st to 2nd run so you would think they are normally in good order. I suppose the competition might be stronger this year with the stables that normally introduce their horses a bit later in the year getting them out now.

Yes dave his first run strike rate is very good and the early weeks of the season are prosperous with these. Think he's had 10 so far and only 1 hit the frame.

He'd usually be very dangerous with runners an early season meeting at Ponty.
Not exactly forum curse stuff but still hard to be confident if you have been watching his runner so far.
He loves getting such winners at this track.

This is what happens Richard when you don't have useless Tony Hamilton riding the horse. Horses have a chance of winning and probably run 10 or 20% faster. Simple Richard, just keep Tony to riding out in the mornings and the winners will flow. I'm saying Tony Hamilton is no better than a useless jockey. He's not even average
