Advertised for £15 a month basic, which is half the price of Raceform interactive. Is it value for money and does it have any extra features. cheers

The basic package is only £10 a month, the enhanced account costs £15 per month and personally its my preferred option. Its a fab website, the guy who owns/runs is brilliant and always open to any new suggestion you may put his way.

The system builder is second to none. Takes a little getting used to as you would expect but everything you could possible want is there.

Flatstats is a better systembuilder but only uk flat.

Flatstats is no where near as comprehensive as horseracebase.com, and only does flat, no NH, for £35 you would expect more from big Phil. I was a subscriber  but moved to horseracebase.com in 2014 and have never looked back. Each to their own of course.

bollocks I have had both and flatstats is light years more comprehensive and it is nowhere near close.  You don't get a proper report from horseracebase just profit and loss for the parameters entered.  On flatstats for example you can put in 3yo+ handicaps in september or Mark Johnstone in August and get a huge amount of stats that you can investigate further.

Rubbish dave1357, and I suspect that you know it too.

3yo Handicaps September, MJ if you like!

what age of horse is the most profitable/loses less?

Are stakes or handicaps more profitable?

what distance range is more profitable?

how does he do with horses that won last time out?

how about horses that were second lto?

how do his quick out again horses do?

how about those given a break?

you will have to do an individual query for all of these (if all possible)

I can get everything at a glance

I'm not sure why on HRB you wouldn't do the following in the above example...

Database search enter Johnston click on GO

Trainer Results click on Johnston M

click on V4 query tab

click on Breakdown tab and then on the extensive DB categories choose which ever ones you want (you can easily select Daves and so many categories it will take you a good while to get used to the extent and also where to find them but with use this will come) click on Proceed.

All of the breakdowns will be on one page and you can close in on any of the breakdowns to sort data in different ways or run further queries.

I'd also say the Dig function tab allows multiple searches and returned results based on multiple category mixes

for example M Johnston
August

then dig by fpr example...

jockey
race distance
horses runs at distance
distance move
horses official rating v last race
horses placing last race
days since run

The DIG function would allow results from all combinations of all the above for M Johnston in August with those other factors

I totally concur with tiger tiger for the money HRB IMO offers superb value for money and the guy who runs it is a gent and always looking to improve the site.

I am not spamming here in any way I just thought the criticism was unfair and inaccurate.

Yes I wasn't aware of the fuss Shocked hadn't logged in for a few weeks but did reply to messages and I saw Foyles replied on my behalf on here (he was one I messaged).

I was fully recovered not feeling tired or sweaty after about 2 weeks so it dragged on a bit.

BUT still don't know for sure if it were defo THE virus which is frustrating Sad

I trust you have kept well Wink

The main point is HRB does all that you asked from tiger tiger earlier easily and you don't need to do single queries to get those results. You can easily get them and so much more in depth searches on one page.
