I was looking for a horse to back at a big price in this race considering the last six winners have been priced at 50/1, 33/1, 16/1, 11/1, 14/1 & 33/1 respectively. This horse stumbled and still finished only 1 1/2 lengths behind Thyme Hill at level in the Challow at Newbury. With Tyme Hill trading at 11/2 and the Cashal Man at 33/1, I know which one I consider better value.
The Hobbs stable's form is worrying so I'd avoid Thyme Hill. Cashel's drift is also worrying. How about Janidil at 24 ? 3 out of 3 this season and may benefit from step up in trip.
