backed it obviously, just watched it again how on earth has he been beaten on that horse, it was like he just did not want it to win, it was running all over the eventual winner

forget about hughes its all been said before, then my ears pricked when I heard he was level pegging with deckie, I thought he was having an average season,so  been watching him last 3 weeks or so his riding has been gruesome imo,the lots falls, weak as pish in finish, outside to no one,in the swamp, the auld pulling the goggles down mid race posing, etc
how mcoy would like to be challenging this lightweight in the straight

I don't don't know if anyone noticed but Hughes' horse was hanging right and didn't want to know.

It was the first one to come under pressure, with the winner always looking slightly the stronger.

I think Hughes did well there and almost pinched it.

He seems a bit like the Matt Le Tissier of the racing world. Talented or not I think he will boss it comfortably from one rung below the very best and won’t really test or expose himself. Flat track bully if you ask me. Waiting Patiently is his best ride?
