Why is he still riding? Solely to fulling his contractual obligation? It's evidently clear he's lost the edge or the mojo some time ago.

Afraid that is not the case.  When you feel that way, watch his ride today on Never Adapt again and then look back at how close he got Anibale Fly in last seasons Gold Cup...

He's had a few ropey ones lately but that was a great ride on Never Adapt, could have easily got there too soon.

Spot on Punchestown.  They all have a few ropey ones at times.  Unlike those who react to a particular ride, perhaps more balanced to look back at a good cross section of rides.  He is an immensely talented horseman.

His ride on Noble Emperor (Limerick) was diabolical; Champ was not much better either, plus many more. I wish P Walsh would ride Champ at the Festival.

Champ was a diabolical ride, all that rubbish about the horse looking around, was a great head on on RTV last Sunday, a terrible terrible ride. I fancy one he will ride if it run in Ballymore, but there you go.

Yep, M Walsh even though I thought he ought to have made the running on Fakir D'oudaries against Notebook.

Geraghty has not been wining on horses he ought to have won on merit; he's been making too many mistakes (Champ nearly ran out the previous time yet he let that slipped his mind coming to the last instead choosing to looking around/behind for non-existence danger prior. I think  he's riding in a similar manner to Cooper when he returned from injuries riding for Elliot and Gigginstown.

You don’t like notebook

It's not I do not like or rate Notebook. As I only bet to win I think FD ought to have been ridden from the front to maximise his fluent jumping against his competitors. Nevertheless, Notebook is a big player if he'd reproduce the form even with FD making the running and jumping brilliantly.

Fair enough there two very good novice chasers fakir has met his match in the jumping department.

Johnson had Notre Pari jumping beautifully the time before. Geraghty can't see a stride and he struggles to make his mind up.

Don’t listen to the apologists who still remember Moscow Flyer. Bazza is a disaster these days. Numerous piss poor rides to cite. Champ was a steering job really and he completely confused the horse to an extent where he took it back to a raw novice.
