In the bookies for a few mins earlier and there was a cross country race on from Pau. De Giles was on the 4/7 leader. A length up turning into the straight for the last and he comes wide, so he goes from a length up to two down at the last. Then he stops riding while looking down, rides, stops riding and coasts to the line losing by around four. Bizarre. Seems to make a good living over there. I don't think he realised that the other horse jumped ahead of him at the last. He thinks he's still leading looks back on each side but never looks ahead so he thinks he costed in only to realise after the race that he lost. I agree he didn't need to come wide and with that losing sight of the second horse at the time. Whether he could have beat the winner if he wouldn't have stopped riding who knows.

pau and cagnes sur mer were playable i/r until recently. tremendous fun they were too during the winter months. only a handful of frog tracks now go i/r. shame. please feel free to ask notfair to put them back on, as i have many times. they have had enough time to adjust their robot. and yes i do have an exterior motive.
