Sorry if this has been asked before. I watch Betfair video using Firefox. When I wish to see a horse race often I am asked for Abode Flash. I then load it watch the race. For watching the next race I need to refresh the video page and again am asked to load Adobe Flash to watch the race. Anyone having a similar probel and if so is there an answer please

The browser providers are increasingly keen to discourage use of Flash by turning it off by default. Personally I am happy with that (Flash is a security nightmare) and I don't mind enabling it on a case-by-case basis.

That's a very good question. When the non-Racing sports starting moving their LV off Flash in the summer, there was a lot of upset - all the alternatives seem to have much greater delay (because they're designed to send high-quality video for entertainment purposes, they use a multi-second buffer to enable maximum compression). |

I’ve had it a couple of times in the past and there is nothing you can do except wait until it rights itself in anything up to a week. It has nothing to do with your computer or any browsers. he wants to enable flash automatically instead of having to do it each race, however, as c+p below Can I set a plugin to always activate? The setting to always activate the Adobe Flash plugin was removed in Firefox version 69 |

if you load livevideo.betfair.com then once flash is enabled, then it stays enabled for all subsequent races

I’ve always had to activate Adobe Flash by hand for every web page that uses it not just Betfair. Wesdag, It will be interesting if anyone can confirm if the link you posted works. |

When I on rare occasions have to access LV via BF's Exchange page, I always have to install Flash for each race. I thought that's the problem the OP had? |

That's a very good question. When the non-Racing sports starting moving their LV off Flash in the summer, there was a lot of upset - all the alternatives seem to have much greater delay (because they're designed to send high-quality video for entertainment purposes, they use a multi-second buffer to enable maximum compression). Using the Bet365 streams, it's obvious that the delay has massively increased. Some sports you can't bet in-play as you're so far behind. Horse racing, if they can't find a solution by the time the Flash has also been converted over, will be massively impacted. |
