All momentum was lost when Lee sat up mind you having  read the following pre race it looks like the stewards will have been paying close attention to the ride

An enquiry was held following a report from an Equine Welfare and Integrity Officer that an employee of Phil Middleton, the trainer of SKEAPING, discovered a white powdery substance on the floor inside and outside Box 3 in the Racecourse Stables - which was being used by SKEAPING. The trainer’s representative, the Equine Welfare and Integrity Officer, the Veterinary Officer, the Stable Manager and the Clerk of the Course were interviewed. The Stewards were satisfied that SKEAPING had received only normal food and water by mouth on the day of racing and allowed the gelding to run and SKEAPING was routine tested. Furthermore, a sample of the substance was sent off for analysis and a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.

An enquiry was held to establish how a section of inside rail had been dislodged on the crossing at the start of the home straight on the first circuit in Race 1. The Clerk of the Course, the Head Groundsman and a Casual Raceday Staff member were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident. Having heard their evidence, the Stewards forwarded a report to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
