He was early on as well on the even money shot. Looks to be travelling with a ton of horse underneath but comes up empty

Desperate for winners last season but now just desperate.
Far too many hold up clever dick rides. Threw that race away. Not all owners are going to put up with losing races through inept tactics and riding. |

I said it on a thread two weeks ago, every Skelton brother's horse is ridden like a non stayer for some reason, yet when others ride them they're ridden more positively.

Have to agree, shocker.

McNae just said Skelton was 'good' on Roksana. Total plank. So good in his book is losing a race you should have won? It really is hard to believe the stuff these industry arse wipers churn out on such a regular basis.

I had no interest in the race but had to chuckle when he got done. This combination are just laughing at punters on a regular basis and owners are just standing them. He won't do anything different until horses start going west.

'Shall I go left past the leader..... or right.... or left.....
No, the long way round getting squeezed is the best....oops' Easily the best horse |

Is definately the jumps Frank Spencer, only rides from front or from last place, hardly ever rides normally in a race i.e 3rd or 4th and come through. Really awful but showing himself up horribly lately.

Every time he is on something you've backed you simply have to hope for the best. It should not be that way. Look ( painfully) after the last on Diomede with Coleman riding out and there Skelton was, bloody lifeless until it was all too late. Yet nothing changes. I also noted that when all hope had gone on Diomede as the winner passed the line Skelton still used the whip. Too late Harry.

Also a week last Saturday on West to the bridge at Wetherby, held up and a mistake at the last put pay to any hope, cantering before that, with the commentator remarking "being played late".
