Anybody with any fancies tonight?
One that took my eye last time out was Aali. Look's a decent horse with Dettori on looks to have a fair chance. I'm pretty sure Crisford said after that win they'd be looking towards the US.
Kimari for Ward is a useful horse too. Was interested if anybody had any opinions in this race?

Draw could have been kinder, not sure what to make of JPS booking for Band Practice, it appears an illogical pairing, hoping he can have her prominent early and kick on and make a place at least, tough race though

Came in 99.98/1 which I found amusing...couldn’t round the fker up could they... Anyways...enjoy the meet Ps - I’ll post my Classic pick nearer the time...I was leaning towards Owendale but he’s been spotlighted in the RP....not my style. Might as well wait and see what info I can get from the track + trainer form. |

did they not invent something like "futures day" to wash this past the public last yr? one big night without the early races would be a proper racing spectacular, it's just about tickets and hospitality first proper race, i'm a bit with langer re the 2 horse, spencer up - will mix 1-2-4 and see if we can get the favs beat, low draw 5f is worth a try although a'ali, and kimari if they get over early will be tough to beat |

Nothing to do with Dettori. Our horses rarely run within 2 seconds of the average US sprinter in the 1st two furlongs. A'Ali is a slow horse
at 5f vs US runners. |

Wonders. Look at the fractions of that race: 21.55, 44.03 final time 55 66 Around a bend! Name me a UK runner that has run 44 second 4 f around a
turn and won. UK /Ire runners finished 5th, 7th, 8th, 10th,11th and 12th. They are too slow. |

Wonders. Look at the fractions of that race you do know that the timing mechanism is different in the US? over here (UK) its taken from a standing start so you add can approx 2 seconds for that |

You're right wonders. However the US gates are set back 50 feet or so before the start point so that also has to be considered.
