Some fair hurdles make this a fascinating contest. Top weight Kage might be best suited by 2m and as a front runner might get his own way up front if he can jump a fence. Plenty of dangers esp. Evan Williams horse.

This was a very good early season Novice Handicap Chase and all the runners could well be  worth following. I was particularly impressed with Esprit du Large who would prefer softer ground and longer trip. A sure fire winner imo
