Really disappointing selection of people, not just today but the other day when former trainer Kristin Stubbs and co were on.
Like all those already present on the racing media they all engage with each other daily one way or another. If Chris Dixon can't stand up to Tim Easterby on Sat and get him to answer why his horse Lampang was running on Rockingham at York on ground he had withdrawn him on previously then the whole RTV/SSR shebang really all is a total whitewash. |

Who was the Irish fella on not so long ago?...used to work for Henry Daly
|

Lampang had hosed up on Good to Soft time before so little reason to withdraw him Sat (they wont gallop them in the mud at home, so they wouldnt know he couldnt handle softer, if indeed that is the reason for his performance)...it was a listed race for which he was clear fav, have a shot and if he doesnt handle the slightly softer ground, so be it...put him away for season and no harm done

Ellie McKenzie impressed when she was being interviewed after riding a winner at Lingfield one Saturday evening, and I thought she came across really well tonight. Intelligent, articulate and humble, plus she got the forecast up for the 6.30!
Mind, when she said her family were so poor she had to go out and work to earn riding lessons, and even then she had to borrow some old jump jockey's saddle, jeez, she had me in floods! ![]() |

I worked alongside Paul Callaghan at Henry Daly's yard a few years ago. He was a brilliant horseman and but for his weight was good enough to be a professional jockey (rode as an Amateur). I thought his time on Racing TV the other day showed him to be very knowledgible they should have him on more often in my opinion.

Agree with isleham, Adele could well go on to get more airtime from what I saw of here on ITV's Morning Show.
