Hard to quibble with such a laudable cause, but donated by the Racing Post!!; They say " Silks worn by Tom Queally when riding the legendary Frankel".  Sigs almost certainly genuine, but the silks are not race-worn. Happy biddingCool.   Highest bid so far £5k by Sally Ann Grassick.

Unfortunately I'm coming up to my 6th decade and the Big C seems to be around you more, last 18 months 4 close people has been been told they had it, one died but other 3 recovering with one given all clear last month, defo improving with treatments, hopefully in my lifetime they can come up with a cure.

Silks worn by Tom Queally when riding the legendary Frankel

I read this that he wore the silks while riding the horse. are the RP trying to con people for charity? ffs Sad

It is all in the wording Charlton!.  It does not say "race worn" which any reputable auction listing would say if this was so. You would expect that IF raceworn the RP would know and the race would be part of the description as it adds provenance AND value.

off topic slightly, but I read somewhere a long time ago, that arkle would have needed to have live to about 150 years old to have worn all of the supposed shoes that have been sold as his ….

also just to add, whilst I agree that signed silks worn rather than raced isn't as valuable, this isn't going to a dodgy ebayer, it's a worthy cause and I hope they get plenty for all of their lots, there are some great donations on there and they deserve to make a few quid

"that arkle would have needed to have live to about 150 years old to have worn all of the supposed shoes that have been sold as his"

So would my wife if she was to wear all the ones she's bought.
