Liverpool has not lost a league game to Newcastle United in 5 games and are also unbeaten in their last 42 home games.

Newcastle United has not beaten Liverpool away from home in 23 games.

It's at Anfield though. Newcastle have started poorly (again).

If you think the magpies can nick a goal, it's around 6/4 both to score and a Lpool win.

Newcastle are beaten before they step on the pitch at Anfield - massive inferiority complex - so it's pretty much a full-bank job.

Same when West Ham and Watford visit later in the season

liverpool will surely rest quite a few players which it probably makes it a poor value bet..................will probably win but these bets are a sure way to the poor house long term

Fair comment, but for me the Premiership title is number one on the trophy agenda.

You cannot give Citeh one sniff, one game, one chance to gain ground.

Klopp will put out a full strength side IMO

Let's face it, Liverpool were lucky to scrape through with a 3-1 win over us (Arsenal) last month and we've clearly softened them up for Newcastle's visit.

If you are interested in buying money it's 1/2 for the Conservatives to end up the party with the most seats after the next General Election. 50% profit you won't get that in a building society.

Mind a few seasons back you thought Chelsea were a banker at Newcastle, shafter?

Newcastle hadn't won a game in ages and were rooted to the bottom of the league, Chelsea were flying at the top

We all know what happened next...

tbf shafter you don't tip many football bets and certainly not many including your home team Newcastle.
It just stuck out in my mind because it was Newcastle to lose that day as well

for parity, I do remember you tipping up a full bank winner on the football

Liverpool v some non league team in the fa cup at 1/33, 3-2ft

think pool went odds against iirc?? Blush

unbeaten in 42 says the odds should be 42/1 for an average team.

newcastle are a below average team with a below average record at anfield

laying the 25/1 is good value imo

I could see norwich nicking a draw. They gave lpool the runaround first game up this season and that was at Anfield.

Citeh without Laporte in defence, starts every game when fit and Norwich show no fear.

"They gave lpool the runaround" Laugh Pool slapped them around and then had a snooze. It's one thing being OK going forward but what about their defence? City's attack will butcher them.

First half Norwich had the same amount of possession and created more chances.

"First half Norwich had the same amount of possession and created more chances." Stats are often misleading. Granted, pool were sloppy and gave away chances, but at no time were they ever in danger of not getting the max pts from that match. Don't get me wrong, I like sides like Norwich..they're attractive to watch as they're always looking to do some damage going forward, and refuse to just park the bus and try to suck the life out of games. But this is ultimately why they're a nice fit for TOP footballing sides. The "U attack WE attack" philosophy is not going to serve them well(in terms of picking pts) against deadly attackers.

I think you'll find it was created to keep factory workers entertained on their sole day off from their daily drudgery and penury.

A kind of incentive from the mill owners to their slaves, giving them an opportunity to form a collective without actually forming any such union at their place of slavery.

Perhaps the man in black who perhaps akin to the Saturnalia brotherhood (black is the colour and could be a KABBA link) is there to take flack from those who play the game and those who watch it. That ensures the 'worker ants' get to vent their frustration out on someone else of a weekend rather than the boss.

Game has changed, multi-millionaires and the 'prawn-cocktail sarnie' mob in the stands but I don't agree it was 'for ****s'.
