I've had to contact Betfair as a withdrawal I made the other day hasn't turned up.  But how to contact them?  I saw one link that was a dead end but it seems they can only be contacted by twitter or facebook.  I do have a twitter account but rarely use it.  I sent them a message and I'm told to "DM" them.  WTF is that?!  Clearly, email is far too passé for them.

The contempt they have for their customers is unbelievable.

RANT OVER

Direct Message ??

Seems a common thing these days having to jump through loops to get in contact... They make it as hard as possible hoping you won't bother.

Vodaphone talk talk and paypal are worse!

focussing on the positive though, the RAC have great customer service and their prices seem quite reasonable. so it can be done.

spent 2 hours 20 mins on hold waiting for the right person to speak to at paypal a few weeks ago. eventually gave up. complained but they just sent a form letter saying sorry. useless, stupid, arrogant, dismissive c@nts.

Yes, DM = Direct Message.  Of course, all this can be worked out eventually but if I withdraw some money on a Tuesday I don't really want to spend all of the following Friday morning chasing betfair/banks up to see where it's gone.  The usual old cobblers about it taking 2 - 5 days to arrive.  Obviously, giving Betfair money can be done instantly.

Re RAC.  There was a horror story on the radio earlier this week saying the RAC didn't turn up for hours then dumped somebody off at a service station for an overnight stay!!  Makes my issue seem very trivial.

@boz2

They can be contacted on their own webchat and usually respond in less than a minute.

Go to:

https://support.betfair.com/app/contact_us/

and click on any of the chevrons ("V") running in a column down the right-hand-side.

then click on the "Message Us - the quickest way to get in touch box"

and you're off.

Hello
I have had the same problem on the 17th and 18th
I made two widrdrawals on 17th still no sign of them on the 23rd
The one I made n the 18th arrived in my bank on 20th

I have had three different stories and answers from three different advisers
Latest one is the two missing payments now left on the 17th and allow 5 working days

I guess they had a glitch again

Thanks for the contact details, guys.

@ober:  I also had two withdrawals on one day, with the second one going awol.  Looks like somebody's system has problems with multiple withdrawals on the same day.  My receiving account is with Monzo.  I can't be sure if it's betfair or Monzo, who have the problem. Ho hum.

Hope you don't have a REVOLUT account! You may commit suicide before they resolve any problems.
