goodness didnt you do them in the gym , over the wooden horse , before climbing the rope to the ceiling , and if you fell off getting the gymshoe applied to yr bottom with great aclarity by the gym teacher , ; the male one unfortunatly , as miss hazzard was only allowed to deal with the girls ,,,

I totally agree with the title of this post, but the rest of it is just b@@@@@@s
![]() No disrespect to Tangle and Delta intended. ![]() Seriously, it's not a backing or laying race, but the botton weight has run poorly too many times at Perth for my liking, and the last time the trainer had a winner, i was young. Will love the going. As for the JJ top weight, class horse of the race, and does handle soft (heavy an unknown) but has been regressing in the ratings since January 2018. What impact (if any) will the first time blinkers have. Gives weight away. The likely favourite Max Do Brazil at least is in form, going not an issue and his in form trainer has sent him all the way from Devon, his only runner and jockeys only mount today. Max Do Brazil to win if i was forced to bet. Good luck whatever, and if you play, but there are probably 99 better races this weekend. |

laying is def not for me hence picking what i saw as a very short fav and trying to see how it might get beaten ,,, layings far too stressful , but long time till a couple of bets ive got running later over the jumps , thank goodness , enjoy yr holiday

i shall continue my possible laying winning streak especially after all the doubters scoffed at my reasoned efforts to get the mr pipe hot pot stuffed , they are out looking for it with a torch in the final straight i think still ,
i was reminded by my punting of Litigous of Jg the other day not to punt horses ist time in handicaps on the basis of their potential rather than the form of more exposed horses , 4.00 pont Global hunter ,,, at ist glance two wins , sexy connections lump on at around evens , , buying money perhaps ,,, then we realise one win on a disqalification , and a drop back in trip ,and will it go on this surface on this ground , Solid ok form of dalaalaat, while smile a while has decent backform as well , i wdnt also discount smile a while who will prob try to make each post a winning one , so that the fav will need to use its energy to get towards the leaders maybe sooner than is comfortable , i shall of course hand the sceptre back to the king of the layers when he deigns to return or if i get it wrong , |

Well Done. As you say, it is easy to pick losers

yesterday was pleasing in many ways ist of all the horse lost in fact it may have finished last ,i was watching the winner Smile a while doing what i suggested it might ie make each post a winning one , at around 10S it def was a brucie bonus , Everything fell into place even one of my biggest doubters suggesting as another did on the previous lay that the horse would win , I might say i hope like the previous day he had loads on it ,
i actually thought my lays , not something i really do were for someone who doesnt do form ,,, nor stats ,,,nor times that they were quite a good stab at doing just that , perhaps i do know what im doing ,, and maybe i will be deleted from the whos a forum clown post , yet i doubt it ,, in best AIS manner i do have a lay ive watched its price contract overnight and watch the what i consider the biggest danger of which there are plenty drop from 11s to 8s , i cant post it at the moment im too busy with building my stuka airfix kit , my fingers seem to be stuck together so i cant type too well , maybe later , leith awaits me again ,, fire door to fit , |

while i did start the thread as a way of amuseing myself and i hope a few others , i like all things esp punting take it very seriously , i did lay both of the horses with real money and to be honest im not too comfortable laying , it seems far more stressful , its probebly i suppose you can wipe out yr gains with one ill judged bet , Im watching the odds of the horse im thinking of laying contact and it seems counter intuitive that im might be laying it , Where as im normally thinking if a horse is punted its an indication of its chances being enhanced ,,,

I find laying extremely stressful, for the reasons you mention, to the point that I note Andrew's lays and hope to God they don't win, for the sake of all the people who follow him.

Todays lay and why ,,, 6.40 sea the sea , heres why at ist glance two wins ,, from a popular to punters stable cos of his dad , with top guy up north on it , ohh its also punted because of its name , they think its sea the stars ,
i actually backed the horse last time and it ran well , but this time its way up in grade against four five or even six horses that could easily beat it , The horse is i feel now at its lowest price and from here it could drift ,, so def trade if things work out , the skelton horse got buffeted trying to fly against the bigger horses over the water and never got into the race and has a chance , yet ive had a few quid over night to cover my lay at 10S and 11S on Solstalla of the tiny stable of david weston , the horse has had breathing issues all well documented and its last run looked to be a sighter for the future , If you add the very strong jockey David bass to the mix it might be that they think the horse has a chance ;; incidently the other mc cain horsethe herds garden if it could add a finish to its other ability wouldnt be out of it either , so ive laid it ,,, if its a reasonable drifter i will trade ;; ive punted the weston horse now down to 8S or so ,,, again might trade but not decided yet , im far too aware with laying the next loser might wipe out the prev two days gains , but im trying to think this is a free go really , esp after the MJ one winning , |

exactament brian ,,, just writing that drained me ,, and not near race time yet ,,, sorry if i add to yr burdens ,,
|
|
By:
the good thing is of course no one follows me so its not as serious
|
|
By:
just thinking brian , i was down yr way a few weeks ago at Priddy folk festival , its always great fun ; esp if you like the morris and jingling bells
|
|
By:
always green up if you can
as the saying goes " nobody ever loses money by taking a profit" |
|
By:
madrigal ,,, incidently love yr name ,,, its very steel eyed span , used to live near Maddy near roadhead , i seldom think about greening up ,,, i punted two last week that traded 1.01 and finished second ,, one of them the power horse on satuday ist time out , i think this laying copy of AIS has made me aware of it ,,, or reminded me its an option ,
tday is really dead day ive a couple of horses running at york im going if stuff works out to punt and better than that two jumpers towards weekend , so its a question of filling in time till then ;; its years decades since i punted race to race , in fact only looked at the two or three races ive expressed an opinion on , good luck tday if y play |

The thing I be wary of when laying are Top weight and Bottom weight---just something that puts me off them.
GL with See The Sea |
|
By:
just to show how good i am at form , never even looked at the weights the fav carrying ,,, i just think its a bit to find against a lot of horses in the race ,, we each find our own salvation , but today is a def maybe day ,,,

Priddy, gosh, that's like the Wild Woods to me: I'm in a place where the countryside has been ironed out and repackaged for the tourists.. Cirencester.

I'm defo Mr Toad. I've looked at Andrew's Monday lay, but it's drifted too far out for my delicate nervous system to consider. I've laid a couple of the bin Saroor shorties at Windsor tonight just to make sure I ruin my evening :)!

i know prior to the second fav being withdrawn in the 6.00 lost in time was really fancied , but punting odds on isnt for me , if the second fav had been running i might perhaps have given yr lay a bit more hope ,

Top weights going in - top and bottom fought it out in the 245 Ling there.
That is why I don't lay them. |

k s - Mention of Priddy reminds me that I know it very well, the water, mud, rocks and total darkness of the subterranean world directly below the village itself. Tramp across 3 fields from the village green, lower yourself into a stream come waterfall, and you're in the wonderful world of tight passages and squeezes leading into large caverns and sumps by the name of Swildon's Hole.!!!

By:
it sounds like nightmare world ,,, i will stick to the almost midsomer murder village idyl ,,, and country dancing ,,, plus not as muddy , yrs reminds me of sealed knot types wrestling in the mud on beeston cricket fields ,,,

As you say, that's is the hard part of being a layer, but you are still a bit in front, keep at it KS!

the prob with laying is that its always the risk doesnt seem worth the reward , You can see why i dont do form , i wdnt have had that running the others into the ground like it did , worse was the stable obviously knew what they had and lumped on big time , So what i expected as a drift became a flood of cash and it was ridden as a well handicapped horse it after the race seemed to be , Its deflated me really , perhaps i need to stick to what i know , ive a couple of decent ones running at york and also two jumpers , This thread was really to fill in time till the recent lull turned to bigger and better things i hope , I try not to force bets , this laying is def forcing , which is a pity as i had def thoughts on tomorrows jumper ,
i think my thoughts on every loser when you lay brings you one step closer to the next winner , harsh yet quite true i think , |
|
By:
kemo the bullsh1tter sabe finding out the hard way that there's a big difference between
"I think I might possibly maybe consider this a lay, or maybe not" and "I laid it" |

Just popped over from andrews thread .hes not doing so good guys.last 2 lays have bolted up..andrew says it was on a short head ..and that hes still in profit.( not for long ) if he doesnt get his thinking cap on.even lampus and happy look to have deserted the thread .but he doesnt lay his selections anyway .so its not his cash hes playing with..he was even in london ( where he can access betfair ) yet still never layed any..NOT GOOD..

Kemo--not here to gloat--but I did say about top weights earlier.
Just something about No. 1 winning. Don't have any stats for it but I avoid them. Maybe somebody else does have stats. Would be interesting to see. Even AIS has losses so don't let it deflate you. |

By:
charlton ,, once again your wrong ,,, in my message i quite clearly said ,,, I laid it ,,, , isnt that clear enough , your as usual with a few of yr like minded friends reading stuff into my messages that i dont say ,,,
i am always very specific just as i was in the prev two lays one big odds on the other evens both lost ,,, and i also added that the MJ horse could ,,, i repeat could make each post a winning one , it did ,, i was on this thread trying to entertain and annoy in equal quantities , if you punted every lay you broke even ,,, whats the problem ,,, if i put up a lay there is the inevitable just like the tanglefoot thread on the even money shot i put up as a lay that it would win , inevitably for this serial guesser , yet give him his due he puts his guesses up , you dont have the bottle to do even that , As is usual for him the horse lost ,, not only lost but finished last ,,, the horse was GLOBAL HUNTER , the super tipster tangle said , the name of the horse and it wins , i think his sole reason was he had read my reasoned lay and thought i will show whos the boss on the forum , He was as he always is WRONG , YET he at least guesses and posts you dont do even that ,,, just trying to see when you posted a thread with a cogent reason yr punting a horse ,,, why not start today if you put up a horse i might tell you what im betting today ,,, |
