2 terrible rides today . Jubiloso way out of its ground , finishes well .
Old Glory , on rails all the way , finishes up on the wide outside .
Cannot understand the media eulogising him ( apart from his nationality).
Think I could make a fortune out of laying him if I could be bothered( not all his mounts , some of them I could win on ).

Over the last couple of years at the high profile and prestigious races and meetings he'd been under-performing repeatedly eg Ascot and Epsom on clear hotpots; the Goodwood Meeting so far has been no improvement either. I hope at the York Meeting in 3 weeks' time he'll ride with his thinking cap on all the time otherwise his time as a jockey must surely be coming to an end - he's no longer hungry for success on horses, I believe.

The favourite was feeling the ground according to Fran Berry. Then he's just a galloper. Then the race wasn't run to suit. The horse is a pile of doung. Will be kept in training till it's 24

Moore looked an absolute world beater a few years ago when he won tons of races at Royal Ascot for O,Brien. Judging by his riding ever since it would seem O,brien had a particularly strong hand of horses that year. Ryan Moore has become a liability ever since, the past couple of years has shown him to be exactly what he is....at best, a slightly above average jockey, though that is the very best you could say about him. Moore has been simply horrendous this year, and his rides at Goodwood this week have been horrendous to put it mindly. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I think its fair to say he was massively over rated after having a sensational run for O,Brien when he had by far the best horses in training.

The really annoying thing is that the press and media keep calling him the best jockey in the world .
Mind you given the bullshit we read daily in the press ( particularly related to politicians spin etc) it is no surprise .

What a nightmare day even by his lowly standards. Should have been looking at two winners minimum and ends up with one tactical mess after another.
The only bright spot on an outsider that carried little pressure.
He didn't make enough use of Mirage Dancer leaving himself open to a horse with a change of pace. It must have been obvious they were going slow and he just sat there.
In the last he got into all sorts of trouble yet again and just gave up.
Handed an open goal to the critics but what did we get from the media? The usual nothing. In fact Luck was no doubt indirectly trying to defend him by saying nothing was coming down the outside. What did Atzeni do in the last?

It's the Frankie factor he's invincible must be like all the 100m runners trying to run against Bolt no brainer Frankie on Jubiloso it wins 99 out of 100 times we all know that was a terrible ride mind you.

He has been shocking for a while, he is tactically inept, I put him at the moment the same as Brod Munro Wilson, in fact I would say he is a liability.

he still is a top jockey,he has just never been much in front of other jockeys like the pundits have made out,i have noticed especially at royal ascot its only being on the best horse thats got him out of trouble(just luck) and then the pundits go into overdrive about how good he is,when on horses of equal ability his errors get shown up more like other jockeys

He could win the 1st six today...to make up for the "sitters" he missed earlier in the week - only one probable fav - but make provisos though.
Ignore my nemesis, please. He's been on my 'ignore' list for a long while now, and that really gets up his nostrils like a mega dose of cat ammonia. No doubt an extremely insecure and obnoxious individual who thinks his views are gospel. A total waste of space!

Once again floundering around on the inside and then outside, inside again before realising outside was best. Wouldn’t have won anyway but really doesn’t have a clue.....

Ryan Moore now showing total contempt for punters, great draw there and he settles the horse right at the back yet again, he is doing it deliberately. Looks like a spoilt child now with an axe to grind, selfish little dickhead He should be sacked and the stewards should be looking into all his rides at Goodwood this week as he is bringing the sport into disrepute.

Don't believe in kicking a guy when he's down but his confidence is absolutely shot at this stage.Maybe he should take a break from it before his legacy is completely torched.

He's riding 7 days a week most of the time, and tomorrow he's at Deauville; he's burning up - he needs a rest. And, the travelling only adds to the stress and professional anxiety.

didnt kinane/murtagh have enough of coolmore, maybe moore isnt happy there. guineas weekend with coolmore double we all thought here we go again loads of coolmore group 1 winners, but looking at it now theyve got a lot of below par horses for them , the only group 1 horse in the yard that could be a champion is the sprinter in my opinion, doubt if japan is top notch.

must be the only sport where its so called best needs to show his passport to even the most ardent of racegoers to recognise him, he,s that much better than the rest its like identifying the best looking lamb amongst a field full of lambs

the o brien stable stinks this year. races they'd usually win 2016-18 their average strike rate 41.98% , this year it's as low as 27.63%. clearly the yard is out of form or just has a bad crop

definitely a lack of confidence in his riding. His race positioning has never been the best out there, but he's got enough in other departments to get him by. A combination of confidence lacking & pressure from above will make race positioning even worse than it always was

Isn't pressure supposed to bring out the best in the best?
Personally, I don't think he thinks he is under pressure and that's the biggest problem. If he was under pressure wouldn't Coolmore already have got rid? It seems too comfortable.
He rides far too many horses as if it is primarily an educational exercise when the first priority should be to actually win the race. It's as if he is riding a first time 2yo and he wants it to finish off its race. How many times do you see him on the front end? Some of the greatest jocks ever have excelled on the front end but Moore?

his ride on buildmeupbettercup at ascot came from last 20 odd runners with 2 furlongs to go just beaten terrible waiting ride this week at galway horse was ridden in 4-5th the up with the pace won easily just like it should have done at ascot, far far too many mistakes seems to have lost his confidence and cant judge pace this last few months put him in a race with franky whos riding at the top of his game theres only one winner. you now have to think very hard when you have one of his now that didnt used to be the case, he really has lost it

I can only remember Roly Poly in the 2017 Falmouth, and even that was over 8f; punted, after he told connections he'd ride the horse from the front instead.

The owner of Ladbrokes Coral has been fined £5.9m for not protecting vulnerable customers and for failings in its anti-money laundering measures. Who is the well known jockey that is paid to advertise for this disgraceful outfit? and the adverts are still being shown on all of the racing coverage regardless.

I found his ride on Hermosa a bit puzzling to say the least.
Even if Hermosa was not right in the Nassau - she ran as if she'd broken a blood vessel (reminiscent of Rhododendron in the Prix Diane) - I was surprised Moore decided to rush Hermosa up to contest the lead with Dettori and Mehdaayih despite her filly was running over 10f for the very 1st time; the prudent thing would be to track Dettori/Mehdaayih.

It's his race riding that's come in for scrutiny/criticism and not Stable form of APOB (and every other trainer he rides for).
Every race is like the same bad scene played over and over again.
Even his staunchest fans would have to admit that he's having a horrendous year.
As someone pointed out he's riding 7 days a week with nearly a ride in every race and he travels abroad most weekends and sometimes mid week as well so fatigue has to be playing a part

Some statistical evidence for the decline of R Moore. Moore - fav strike rate - 26% Frankie - 45% Crowley - 60%.
Moore - winners to rides - 15% Frankie - 25% Crowley - 19%.
When you think about the quality of rides that Moore is on and the fact that he is very selective about what he rides. He doesn't for example ride donkeys in big handicaps at Carlisle. I agree that he is not box office anymore. Miserable git as well to punters and media.

Can anyone think of a ride when Moore stole it on not the best horse? A bit like Andrea Atzeni. Way overated and the third best jockey riding for Varian. It seems luck & politics are the skills required to ride Gp 1 horses for some jockeys.

Buick and Doyle - would they be Cecil's stable jockeys at his peak? Absolutely no way, and neither would Moore; Cecil did not get Cauthen from America if he thought the best jockeys were here or Ireland. I think Cecil even gave Cauthen a telling off for not making the ride (bad weather) on Faustus in a Group race as he did not make alternative travel arrangement earlier eg road instead of helicopter.
Sorry, but Moore needs to know when not to over commit and ride sh1te instead be more selective in what he rides. I believe there are at least 3 Group races he ought to have won so far this season; he lost at least 5 thro' injudicious riding of his own (not horse's ability).

Perhaps Homecoming Queen in the 2012 1,000 Guineas, won easy on the day but Moore certainly got everything right, broke well and stacked them up mid race before kicking clear. Only had to go back 7 years

The Grey Gatsby in the Irish Champion, his efficient ride landing the spoils from Australia, whose wide trip almost certainly cost him victory, and arguably was the ride that landed RM the Ballydoyle number 1 gig!

he was only a length behind the winner from the off on Circus Maximus in SJPS. You could argue that KoC or TDH were better and should have won. That said I am not a fan. Over rated and , in the main, one dimensional. I rarely see evidence of him thinking about the different requirements of horses or particular races (though I accept that the example I have given shows forethought). The market allows a punter to benefit from healthy scepticism of his ability, or be punished for that view.

Did anyone see the 3.45 Kempton. Came through on a Stoute newcomer with a winning run. Clearly on the best horse in the race. Went 1.02 in running.....Finished 3rd. Best jockey on the 3rd best horse. James Doyle. Note another terrible ride from Atzeni as well. Went too soon , weak in finish.
