He drops down two grades here, (Class 3 to a Class 5) and Billy Garritty claims a useful 7lb!

Norfolk I,d be careful backing this stables horses who look nailed on for a place especially round this track because they seem to underperform on a regular basis after being heavily layed in the place market now I,m not suggesting foul play but I think they are as bent as Harry Lauders stick

he had to be pushed out of the paddock backwards, and then once at the start the jockey was having to ride a finish to get him to jump off, but apart from that the horse looked on good terms with himself

Not that it always means cuz they're recalcitrant beforehand they won't run a decent race, but I think you'd have to put a squiggle next to his name after today

I had a half share in him but sent him to the sales when he won at Weatherby beating Silver Streak who finished third in the Champion Hurdle. He did the rounds and we got him back for 3 grand at the Ascot sales. We all love Cartmel and thought he would be a fun horse around the track. He has had three runs since then and run well.He is a horse who likes firmish ground so he has run OK so far.The clerk of the course at the track over waters and is a disgrace.Phil Kirby was raging today. If he is alright tomorrow he will be off to Perth next week where we hope for better ground.

The horse is bit of a monkey reading through its form.

That 14 length win at Stratford with Frosty aboard didn't do it's h'cap mark any good and it beat nothing.
I think it'll need an easy race for it to win off 102 without improving a bit.
