With contradictions aplenty,you may remember a positive thread where Alistair Ralph got a thumbs up,you may remember that myself and Molerat expressed reservations about certain Welsh trainers? Well here there is a collision where molerat says the Welsh may have the upper hand,purely based on horseflesh.

Very rarely he says do you find a horse bought to be a chaser and sent Chasing before at least having a few runs over hurdles,this one is doing the opposite to the majority,been chasing and now having a second run over hurdles at the age of 8.He says he does not like the makeup of this race and would normally give it a wide berth having heard a range of "Tips"

Too much Welshness was his descriptive email but tempered by his colleagues info that Alan Johns has been told to "Get out in front and stay there".This  says his colleague may well work as the horse is in good nick and could possibly nick the race.

The only 2 dangers molerat identifies via his colleague one is the fav who is very solid odds,this he says makes the price attractive as it will come down to stamina,the other is ridden by an overated female in Isabel Williams whom he says should not be near a horse.

His conclusion is that either lay Velvet Revolution or back Danboru as other than Miss Zip he cant see the others getting involved.

On that I am going for a lay of the odds on fav and a win on Danboru and a small saver on Miss Zip ew.
