Fav could be anything here after winning well and in a good time. However I think Platinum Star has some decent form and I'm going for the win and place. gl/all.

PS I've3 beenj putting up selections for nearly 17 years now Dumbo. It's nothing new and what the forum is all about....opinions. You should try it some time..

Indeed cardiffc, It was my intention to put an EW double on with the books for smallish stakes but at least I get three places here.

I think Hurstwood has been massively under rated here.  bet635 going 22/1 1/4 odds first 4 in a seven runner race.

Can't argue with that e f but are you sure it's the first four? According to oddschecker it's the first two? (@ 40s)

There ew extra facility lets you adjust the odds and place terms to what you want.  GL

Interesting. I will give them a phone and see what price my beast is on those terms. Thanks.

On their website it is 6/1 Platinum Star for 4 places.

Just off the phone to them e f it's 11/2 now 4 places and 8/1 three places. The adviser told me it can only be seen on their website which I will have to rectify now that I know about this. Thanks again for pointing it out to me.

If it improves from it's first run it could take all the beating imho but I'm going for value.

O'Brien making ours look poor as usual. I don't expect it is one of his best 10 2yo's.

e f if you're still looking in, for what it's worth re: enchanched places at lesser odds with the Stoke mob the only drawback is that you don't get BOG but still a good deal in the right races imo.

Ya, unlucky 'stewarty', Bin Suroor must dislike Doyle to the extent not offering the ride on Platinum Star to him despite Doyle was free to ride in this race.

Sheikh Mo was at Newmarket to see his star horse getting stuffed by every other runner in the race. Oh, it was the Derby winner too!

I did wonder why Doyle wasn't the pilot 123. A better jockey than Bentley imvho and that extra pound or so which divides the really good from the lesser definitely makes the difference. ie: Is Doyle 1lb better than Bentley? I think so but Bentley is up and coming and could turn out to be a good un.

That said, no sour grapes having made a profit on the race but it does irk me somewhat what MAY have been if Doyle had been on board.

**One thing I should add is that Doyle is a far better pilot than Lordan, again imho.

Take a look at the 22:01 post Charlton. He's that thick that he doesn't even know he's an embarrassment to the forum.

I presume he has made such comments on prior threads given that made that comment in the OP!

No comment as I don't know him at all

He accused me of aftertiming by giving an opinion. Nobody else has although they are free to make that assumption. Small pen1s envy springs to mind. That said wait for him to put up a selection or opinion. BUT don't hold your breath.

A poultice of the highest order.
