No I don't. All trainers who have a saddle slip due to their incompetance in not doing everything yp tightly enough should be banned for a month! Have always felt really strongly about this, its not rocket science, it really isn't.Just cos it made a mistake if it was done up tight enough it wouldn't have slipped.

silly trainer forgetting to tighten it properly, that'll be it...that is the sole reason there can possibly be for a saddle slipping 

Doorman 99. I see what your saying but horses blow out on the way to the start etc and the saddle is always checked at the start

Feel sorry for trainers with god-awful records...yeh right.

Plenty others more in need than this type.

I think you will find that every horse ridden by a Conditional/Apprentice jockey has to have their girths checked at the start.

Blaming the trainer or his representitve seems harsh, as the saddling-up is done either in the racecourse stables or in the pre-paddock boxes.

It is clearly visable that following Naasik's blunder at the second last the saddle moved back and that was the catalyst for the unseat nearing the last hurdle.
