His last 3 odds on pokes all beaten there have been a good few of his turned over at short odds last few weeks
|
|
By:
He had 13/16 odds on winners from april to june
5 out the last 6 beat last 4 seasons prior to this a small profit BACKING them. |

Bet them they get stuffed (Not even close) - Lay them they win.

dirty filthy stable/trainer

MJ compounds his arrogant disregard for punters by nominating Thommo as the racing expert he most respects and admires - I kid you not!

Backing all of his odds on shots blind when the ground has no element of soft or worse in it...
Has made a small PROFIT for the BACKER since BFSP and this has not changed in recent seasons. The ground in his runners sample as a whole is statistically significant beyond doubt for whatever reason. |

I'd forgotten that Essex. But thanks for reminding us.
That is interesting striding. It actually shows him to be a way better trainer than many on here think. Because backing odds-on good or better ground wouldn't make most trainers show a profit. |

hes f useless save thousands just leaving his alone, if you come across anyone who praises johnston or backs his you know you can smile as hes a losing punter
|

I'd say quite the opposite when you present facts to people like the OP they have no answers, it must be their own punting methods rather than the yard that is to blame for their woes.
This is yet another thread that is complete balderdash by the OP but hey why let the facts get in the way of a good cliche. |

know all - I have backed his older horses ruthlessly at Goodwood for at least 7 or 8 years. I promise to let you know when I am a losing punter

Anyone laying his runner in the feature race at Hamilton today?
Rattling ground which it loves First time getting the allowance into a 3yo+ hcp by far the easiest assignment on current ratings for a long time 6th in the Britannia not in the favoured group proven on a stiff finish The price I wanted had already gone early this morning. |

*I'm assuming this will ride plenty quick enough now in these drying conditions. Official is gd/gd fm places.

The one element that isn't there which is what a lot of the Goodwood horses will have is the unexposed look at the trip with the pedigree where further is likely to suit.
For me today is a case of being in the right race with conditions in it's favour but if it won well it wouldn't be one to get carried away with penalised next time. |

MJ is an owners trainer, they pay the bills , punters pay nothing to the stable upkeep, so they are last for consideration when his horses run.....simple.
Striding Edge takes time and effort to make following Johnston pay ...... a bit of time, effort and study rather than whingeing comments might get the critics on this forum a positive result. |
