I saw that. Think your being a bit harsh to be honest. Just seemed to put his arm round the lad next to him
I've watched it back and as his horse passes the line, his right hand remains firmly in his pocket, and then when the lad comes alongside side him, he gives him what appears to be a little congratulatory slap on the back.
He then tilts his head back slightly as they walk away, perhaps saying something about what had happened to the ill-fated horse, but not in a celebratory way.
And to be fair to Murphy, in the post race interview, without be prompted by Fitzgerald, he was quick to offer his condolences to the Symonds' yard.
Imo, this thread is out of order.
