He has been exceptionally busy as indeed I have been myself, hopefully now returning to a semblance of balance. This snippet sent yesterday and seen in the early hours of getting home this morning. He does emphasise that he distrusts this stable and he knows I do as well but he points out that this is where there could be some value.
The horse was kept on to race this year as he had shown a lot of potential but was recognised as one that needed time to mature and even now is far from the finished article, still plenty of growing to do and the danger here also is will they allow him to run to his ability bearing in mind a handicap is close on the horizon.According to molerats informant the horse has been looking more like ready to do himself justice in home work, eating up and just general wellbeing. His contact says the horse is already around 85 in what he shows and this would put him right among the best in this race,if allowed to or translating work to racecourse.
So now you get the drift,he is one to watch closely and molerats contact says if running near what he has witnessed the horse could run a big race and worth an ew whilst bearing in mind the comments. At 28/1 as things stand a big outlay is not neccesary for a decent return even if only placed,as much value however can be gleaned from a watching brief for future reference.
For myself I will be going ew on Eddie Cochran in the 1500 hrs at Chepstow and watching with interest.
Good luck if you have a dabble and bear in mind the above...........there aint no cure for the summer time blues......unless!!!?
Hi guys, not often I return to a thread but a few notes worth making regards the race.In answer to Leif,I contacted molerat regards trip.Like myself and you Leif he thinks he needs further but not neccessarily on soft.He said this was confirmed by the jockey after the race and 10 or even 12f is probably where he will be at his best.
As to his next run, molerat spoke to his contact and he says much will depend on the handicapper e.g if taking a literal line through the winner via Biometric, that he said could mean a hefty mark. That said he does say he stands by his guesstimation of potentially being an 85 horse and if getting less and over further he could be ahead of his official mark,he is hoping around 72 with fingers crossed.
Worth keeping an eye on,well done all who were on and hope some got the 33s,molerat reckons the form will work out well from the race.
