Sky Racing site

Totally agree. After the Sporting Life turned their website into a mobile plaything back in April 2017 (see thread "SPORTING LIFE why oh why ?", Sky Sports Racing was an excellent desktop racing site. Very easy to navigate. Compact data. No endless scrolling up and down. Easy to put stuff into a spreadsheet for further analysis and printing. It had its faults, but in fact, it was much better than Timeform for simplicity of use. Not everyone studies form on a smartphone! Thanks for nothing Sky Sports.

Where has the - ALL races on ONE Page 'FAST Cards'- Option gone.

GINORMOUS Colour Cards are of NO use to anybody - for FORM STUDY.

People who think that FULL FORM STUDY can be done ADEQUATELY from a F*cking PHONE - must have brains the size of a pea.

Sadly, I doubt I'll ever find the site usuable again, which is a shame because it was a good replacement for the old Sporting Life site.

These IT bods who feel they have to justify their existence by unnecessarily changing websites(for the worse!) drive me mad!

Can you kindly  Cut & Paste the responses on the Thread - and Post them on his Twitter feed.

Pace mapping races just got a damn site harder, first SL now Sky, bah.

SL ATR no better Sky was the only one where you could get through a race 3 times faster than the others.

For desktop computer users looking for free horseracing form, Irishracing.com remains okay and further afield - in Australia no less - Punters.com.au offers all UK racecards in CSV files compatible with Excel.

It's about time Weatherbys, the Racecourse Data Company, BHA etc. got together and offered bare bones racing data on an open source basis so people could use it how they wanted it to, not how some clowns at Sky or Sporting Life thought it might look good on a Smartphone.

At the bottom of the sky racing page there's a contact link where you can fire off a comment or suggestion to technical and website support. I just done it and hope a few more people will as it was a really good source of clear info with a clear layout before they set fire to it.

birdy, they used to have all the replays on sky site and i used it each day, then they dropped them for ruk, maybe the subscriber (us) funded ruk had a reason not to continue, i emailed sky a few times without ever getting a reply, unfortunately these sites never seem to return and its not just racing.

i contacted the bha regarding a certain matter the other day on their website, i received a couple of autoatic emails of notification that i had emailed etc and then the reply was a very unhelpful single line, you sort of feel people who follow racing are never listened to.

Messing it up just in time for Royal ascot week.....couldn't make it up !

Racing -> Racecards -> change "Today" to whatever day you're looking for.  Ugly but not unintuitive IMO

It's the same abomination of a site.That they'd tried to foist upon users previously, before quickly reverting back to the ' old ' design.

I've contacted Website and the Editor. Let see what the response is.

Was it like that yesterday morning as well? coz it wasn't later on in the day, or the night prior. I've seen sites testing this new crap and revert back quickly sometimes..just before they change it up for good. But I thought they UNDERSTOOD the last time they tried this, NOBODY wanted it. It was/is unusable. The fact that these people can look at how neat and smooth the old design was..and somehow believe that this new crud is the way forward...is absolutely baffling. If they plan on keeping that trash, I'll have to find an alternative.
