BHA Riding Fees.

Booked an amateur to ride at Cartmel last meeting.The BHA account showed a charge for riding fee and insurance of just under £200.Rang the accounts the lady said we pay the full fee as she was an "experienced" amateur.Could offer no explanation where the money went.We had given the girl a £100 to cover her costs and have a drink.So £300 for a horse to get a ride from an amateur.Hardly encourages people to dip their toes in ownership.
