interesting compilation , i like to be right , cos if im right i win real money ,,, yet if one of my bigger bets loses , that definatly effects my next few bets , but a winner  and the games on  again ,

perhaps my after race stuff isnt of ant interest nor use to anyone ,  The way i do things it has to be for me at least relevent as to why the horse lost ,  I suppose if i was just saying ,,, masham star 1,30 , it wd be simpler ,and if it loses , theres always the next race ,

Very good, striding and ItsMeSwaddle

kemo, I should stress, it's just an observation, not a criticism. Anyway, I actually love reading all that stuff about owners, trainers and work riders blaming the jockey! Grin

i didnt take it as critical at all , i post not really to put up winners ,or indeed losers ; ive always been interested in the colour in the bckground so my comments ref the work staff , and  the   asst trainers etc  esp when they win or lose is part of it ,,, like this morning it was all bacon butties , and gossip about the ride last night ,,, plus other stables taking the piss about the so called good thing , newmarket is tiny really everyone knows everyone else , there are few real secrets ,  its rare i say that ride was awful let alone say the horse wasnt off , i just commented because two same jockey for big owner and trainer ,  for me just no thought into it ,,, im sure it will change ,

Everyone picks losers George, goes with the territory. I try not to blame the jockey as sometimes races don't pan out as you thought, i'm usually ok so long as they run pretty well and shorten up to a quarter or so of the price as you can always say you've traded out! If they run like nags i just say i was wrong and look for the next one!
I don't put up tips as such, just put up my thoughts on certain races, if people choose to back them/or lay them, then thats up to themselves. I find if you've had a good in depth look at a race it helps to put your thoughts down on paper for future reference, whether they win or lose you can see why you backed them and learn from your mistakes. Like you i'm not always trying to put up winners but horses that i think will run very well at a price, sometimes think they have a good chance of a place and may just win.

Really it's a good job that some people put up their selections or this forum would just be a place to sl@g off jockeys and supposed bent races (know it goes on). Years ago we had the likes of Well Chief, Aceform, Red Punter, fryboy, giggilo etc putting up their fancies, was a far more interesting place then.

there are just loads and loads of bad losers, blame everything and everyone. yes there are poor, unlucky and a few questionable rides but the simple fact is that people hat to lose, cant afford to lose and vent their anger at every opportunity.
i have plenty time for people who take their time and watch the replay and have an opinion but no time for those who are on a second after they past the post.

ohh that wasnt a suggested horse , i just picked one at random to show that isnt the way i do it ,,, now if it had won i of course would have said i lumped on ,  a bit like ryan  ,frannie for me who rode a 6f sprinter like a quarter horse , def not for me

perhaps i need to try that method ,,, today mathew the winner is 3.45 dalness express ,,,  cue the smoke and it will emerge like hill house from the mists and rain , of course you have to know about hill house ,,, a time when racing was straight and run by the toffs with captain ryan price the most honest of them all , tip of the hat ;

deal with them same way as winners ,just get on with it ,
every day there are posts about **** jockeys **** trainers ,
if you dont like them dont bet ffs ,
but stop posting a load of old cobblers about jockeys and bent trainers ,give it up.
