Did he get 2nd and 3rd in those 3 years he won it and that will give you the answer if 10/1 is value.

If Sir Dragonet, Broome, AVD, Japan, Circus Maximus, Norway and Mohawk all run it's a strong possibility more so if Telecaster is an absentee; Madhmoon could be the fly-in-the-ointment if he stays though. Nevertheless, 10/1...would a combo tricast pay better dividend assuming the principals run to their market positions with either one or two outsiders in the mix?

From the stats above Coolmore could have the 1st, 2nd and 3rd this year given the right non-runners, and all of their go to post; 1 occasion 2nd, 3rd and 4th - the year of Sea The Stars. In 2002 High Chaparral (7/2) beat Hawk Wing (9/4) with only 3 runners. But, this year Coolmore have 7 runners 3 of which can win, and at least 5 running into a place, I believe. |

If Sir Dragonet runs, you'd need to question why he is running after it was said that he would contest the French Derby. It does not say much for confidence in the other runners.
Yes, they could have the first three but more from sheer weight of numbers than because they have a champion. |
