All these experts who consider David Egan to be a champion jockey in waiting must be reading to many Noddy books because what I have seen of him is a very mediocre lightweight like his father John like father like son?

After reading the first book in this series called The Adventures Of Gordon The Greyhound I am dumbfounded after reading this sequel that no TV / Media/ Film Producers have not stumbled across these hidden jewels of childrens books and authorship,a most wonderful story to read to children with so many principles to be learnt by them,The author who I have never heard of before has that magical imagination in both books that it promotes decency and kindness within the srories to children,I have no doubt as a reader of thousands of childrens books from all authors these books in my expert opinion rank in the top 5

the fred seems to have gone a bit off piste. As for David Egan I'm firmly in the camp which sees him a potential champion. He's brilliant from the gates and has a terrific "sit" which is why his horse's find because they've expended less energy. He also strikes me as a very upstanding young man. Further if you think his father wasn't/isn't a good jockey then look at his record in Macau and HK where he was terrific. Rode over 50 winners in his first season in HK, despite having no big stable behind him, and finished fourth or fifth in their hugely competitive standings. He's been one of the best lightweights around for years and years. Don't forget he must be early 50s by now.

Having read this thread from start to finish it's very clear that MBE is of course an acronym for Massive Bell End.

And oddly enough, as someone that's been a professional punter, writer and long term racehorse owner, I do have a vague idea how race replays work. The difficulty we have is that I'm watching the replays through experienced eyes, whereas you're watching them as a ten bob betting shop punter.
But do carry on Wobbly, there's a certain comedic element to being preached at about bent races by a man that worked in greyhound racing.
