6/4>>> 6/1, and not far off pulled up in a 6f sprint.

You'll never see a clearer case of "They knew", imo.

Another disgrace ! Connections probably laying it on the exchanges ? crooked ride .....
Report bettinghelp May 19, 2019 2:22 PM BST
Nothing wrong with the ride. Plenty wrong with the horse.

racing connections ramp, let one drifter in every 100 or so win so if any questions are asked ,raised pundits can say drifters do win, ,perma tan, cliché man loved it in the paddock instead of alerting viewers to watch IT IN RACE AFTER monstrous drift, top 2 yr old stable, top owners and everyone jogs on, equivalent of pep shouting to arguerro to turn round run at his own keeper and put one in the top corner, and everyone carrying on as though nothing had happened, LaughLaugh,
the 2 loons on atr earlier holty and the croc think bookies profits might be hit because punters are winning more and everyone kept a straight face as the gravey boat was passed around

A complete farce really.

Wouldn't of even won if raced fairly, safe laying for them.

I dont know how the world of none jigging works but,

I wouldnt think it would be a bad cistern to buy a hoss for 10-50k

Hope it gets 1 decent run in for all to see.

Lay it off the boards like this today to recoup all of purchase fee 2nd run.

Youve got yourself a free hoss!

Is it not just the case that the horse is probably no good and was only 6/4 because it’s trained by Archie Watson. If the horse was trained in a different yard and drifted from 10’s to 28’s and ran like that no one would bat an eyelid

Timeform post race:

ABADIE (290,000F: by Muhaarar: closely related to 5f winner Lady In France (by Showcasing) and half-brother to 3 winners, including very smart winner up to 5.5f Stepper Point (by Kyllachy) and winner up to 7f Gulland Rock (2-y-o 5f winner, by Exceed And Excel): dam 2-y-o 6f winner) made plenty of appeal on paper and is best not judged on this debut with tongue strap on, showing greenness and not getting best of runs; mid-field, hampered over 2f out, weakened; should do better.

Stewards report post race:

Following the race, Paul Mulrennan reported that ABADIE, unplaced, ran green.

Not convinced of alot of these markets myself some strange happenings massive moves both ways plenty running no race.
Will say plenty horses run bad first time at Ripon hit one of those ridges and owt can happen.

Just the way things are now, horse probably no good and they knew and of course the facility on here means you can fill your boots, good luck to them.
Winner obviously showed big improvement but a pretty poor race that apart imo.
Report intheknow May 20, 2019 9:57 AM BST
Spot on from Ribero & was prob put in too short anyway on the basis that it was the sole southern entry on the assumption that it had to be useful

the problem I have with itsmeswaddle,s scenario is the day they go in,they must collude with other connections in the race, because your not going to go all in ,and thye run the risk other connections playing the same game in the same race, which to draw the obvious conclusion that below the top grade every race is bent to some degree, theres no way connections of others in the race were going all out for a win showing their hand, backing their horse ,without knowing the short priced archie Watson runner wasn't off a yard, imo

^   Err ... 1st time poster ...

You are going for a Punt, and having it off big time with your own horse ....

So - You, "COLLUDE with other connections in the race," - "because your not going to go all in, and run the risk other connections playing the same game in the same race,"

Thus - then notifying ALL the, "other connections in the race" ... of what you are up to - so that they can then 'nick YOUR price' BEFORE YOU.

Are you sure that you have got this game in full perspective? - rather than an apparent abject acceptance that EVERYBODY else has got EVERY race, "below the top grade," by the ballcocks - and are laughing all the way to the bank at your expense.
Report 1st time poster May 20, 2019 12:23 PM BST
the horse is either useless or wasn't off a yard,if you own a horse and fancy a punt ,common sense tells me that if Abadie is in opposition you aint going to go balls deep on yours on the evidence Abadie is absolutely useless, theres always A FORM OF collution going on ringing round other connections at dec time are you running,do you fancy it,is it off etc, etc, irish racing prime example of Elliot, mullins getting it almost spot on when one of theirs is backed to the exclusion of the other, you don't t really believe that's without prior knowledge of how the other ones going to run, if you follow the money in these races you,d have to conclude that either Elliot or mullins on any particular day is absolute useless ,when in fact we no their absolutely brilliant at their job
Report onlooker May 20, 2019 1:07 PM BST
Sorry - mate - and not looking for an argument ... But you do keep contradicting yourself.

1.  Can we have this in grammatically correct English? please ...

",common sense tells me that if Abadie is in opposition you aint going to go balls deep on yours on the evidence Abadie is absolutely useless,"

2. Your rationale of - "ringing round other connections at dec time" ...

  - rather relies on EVERYBODY else telling you what THEY are doing - BUT - keeping shtum about your own plans ... otherwise - you will be 'letting YOUR cat out of the bag'.

It cannot work like that.
