He might have been on the right part of the track and been running away from 'trees' (as Jimbo McGrath might say), but he looks the part, is by the right sire (War Front) for Ascot, and that was impressive from Pistoletto.

their 2 yo's seem to have hit the ground running this year
Just seen the time, 1.3 secs slower than the older horse winner of race 2, but he did carry 8lb more

Doubt there have been too many decent 2yr olds out yet,at least on the clock seen nothing yet or noted althoiugh bee looking at the lseley ward winners but havn't had the chance to check the times of the three recent winners he's had..
Pedigree would suggest Pistoletto being more effective at 6f, so I did wonder if Donnacha's comments really meant: we've got about 10 better at home

I only look out for the johnston 2yr olds and on the clock as he always has one that reveals how good as it,thats the beauty of their running style,the o'brien horses you have to second guess as they get beat so you usually have to follow up their second or maybe third runs.
Stand by, the Pistoletto form is about to be tested, the distant 2nd and 3rd from Tipeerary are being pitched into Listed company, currently trading at 50 and 75 respectively here

I'd liked the way she was travelling all over them from 2f out, Deptford, looks worth a crack at RA on that evidence.
Speaking of the Queen Mary, Bet365 have proved up Full Verse at 20/1, which seems a bit short as he is a colt and the race is restricted to fillies
Not a chance IMO. 6 at ascot is not what he wants looking at that today. Sire was all speed over 5 too. Should go Norfolk.
