Many of our trainers use races to train their runners to go into the stalls . There should be compulsory barrier trials( in which blindfolds are
not allowed to be used). It is unfair on the early loaded runners to be stood there for ages because trainers of others haven't done their job.
While on the subject, there appears to be no set sequence for loading (e.g. by stall number order) and so who decides the order? Favourites are
rarely loaded early, and nearly always in the last three. This can't be right. They are loaded one at a time which further delays things. If they
were loaded in stalls order two at a time (e.g. in a field of 10, stalls 1 and 6 then stalls 2 and 7 , 3and 8 etc) it would be fairer and quicker.
But then who am I to question those in charge of the 'best racing in the world'?
