Have I missed something, Windsor tonight and Newmarket Wednesday the Bin Suroor runners use Soumillon not William Buick although Buick does have a ride for Godolphin but for Charlie Appleby.

Buick rides for Appleby, Suroor seems to delight in booking anyone but the ones that Appleby uses.

Over "zealous" competition and/or distrust between the two trainers perhaps, but can anyone blame Bin Suroor for that? Soumillion is still top class similarly, Mosse used by Elsworth on Dandhu last saturday plus several in Newmarket and others. I'd have either before Moore any time, any day.

No doubt Soumillon is top class but it must grate with William Buick as despite all the ' its a team exercise etc ' the Craven meeting generally used for assessing decent prospects for later in the year. Surely if Bin Suroor was going to use William Buick as Godolphin number 1 he would have wanted him on these horses ?

He is not the Godolphin No. 1 he is Appleby No 1. Barzelona is the main one used in France by Fabre. James Doyle is the one who seems to be out of favour.

Bin Suroor has been using very poor jocks during the AW season

Wonderbright I said the AW season which starts in Nov 2018.
He has had only one runner on the AW in 2019 The jockeys he has used this aw season include George Wood,M M Monaghan, Hayley Turner,Hector Crouch and G Malune He has also used good jocks such as Jason Watson,Oisin Murphy and Adam Kirby 2018 Turf Season he used 28 jocks in the UK |
