Whilst we are still in Europe.

I've scoured the markets to find a near 2/1 double which looks pretty well nailed on.
1 Stormy Antarctic runs at Dusseldorf, last year won at Baden Baden  in a G2 over 1m on Good ground, always runs well 1st time out in April, record of 121, has been 2nd in a G1, 3 times, placed in G2s 3 times besides the win in Germany and has won 2 G3s. A very solid 1m performer and looks clear of his opponents here, Degas generally runs 3 or 4 lengths behind him.
2 Persian King runs in the 1.35 Longchamp, his prep race for probably the Poulains but still engaged in our 2000 gs, only defeat so far was on his debut when runner up to Freddy Heads Anodor, that's no disgrace as that went on to be 3rd in the G1 Prix Lagardere within 1 length of Godolphins Royal Marine and O'Briens Broome, easy winner on his comeback at Leopardstown. Persian King ended his 2 yo career winning the Futurity from a cluster of O'Briens top rated Juveniles. Has his stable mate to beat Epic Hero and P Coles horse Duke Of Hazzard who could nick 2nd has good juvenile form just below top level.
3 To make up some better odds bets we can add from Ireland Sharjar in the 5.20 at 7/2, a Dundalk specialist who is weighted to turn the tables on dual winner Wild Shot on 8lb better terms for 3 1/2 lgths over C/D and 2lbs better off for a nose lto over 12fs.
4 Late Shipment 7/2 at Stratford in the 3.45. Won easily At Chepstow 2 weeks ago when very well h'capped and runs from 6lb higher here, only got going late on and won going away, has ran some very good races from 15/19 lbs higher than this and should follow up, Boher Lad reapposs.. es from 8lb better than at Chepstow but wouldn't expect him to turn the tables. Only slight negative is that most of his best runs have been on stiff tracks on easy going but did win on GF on the flat and this extra distance should help him get home.
5. Over at Wincanton and probably the least fancied of my European journey is Cousin Khee, in the 3.30 Military race, big drifter and 10/1 now so may not be right/fit, but to me has the best form of all these. This time last year was running on the AW at Sthwll winning 2 races and a close 2nd, had a break and wasn't in the same form afterwards. Last time he ran over jumps was 2 years ago when 2nd at Warwick after being btn a Neck in this race. His Jockey hasn't had much luck in recent years, no winners in Rules races for over 5 years but has a 67% placed record, including a 2nd in this race last year for Morrison.
