As I have said to a few on here, Road To Rome will take some pegging back over this trip. It had a hard race at chelt but Joe wouldn't run it if it wasn't OK... , it has to pass a swab test to run. Joe thinks the only danger is the fences.
Looks sure to suit but just worried about the hard campaign. Think BV are doing Road to Rome at 7/2 with faller insurance.
i pretty the targetted Kruzhlinin who missed Cheltenham for this.
Whatever really looking forward to it.

Tell Joe if you see him, at Cheltenham the horse had to jump 22 fences - tomorrow it’s only 18.
Don’t want him explaining to the Stewards “Sam thought there was still four to go”.
I jest.

Magic, the ground is a worry, the fav needs it quickish, any rain that gets in the ground would be against it... It is a bit quirky and will go down to the start early if its points are anything to go by... It has won its last few coming up through the grades, but not been up against "Open" horses Like It's all or nothing.. who unseated in a good race which VIRAK won, and was still in with a chance. That form is the best in this field... Big George has god form figures, but the actual firm is average, I think it will be out paced around here, it looks a thorough stayer.

I shall follow my usual hi-tech and sophisticated method for choosing the winner of this race - ignoring the fav and putting a minimal amount of money on whichever horse is the first name my inner mind sees (with my eyes) . Todays winner is therefore Greensalt at 40's........

Road To Rome will probably win but too short in a race of this size.
Had a dabble e/w first 5 on last years 2nd in this race in soft ground Bear's Affair. 13yo now, but might run into a plaice.

Elise: " i'll stick with burning ambition but this could be carnage so mr mix as an outsider " If its carnage behind Road To Rome will be well in front of it.

jj oshea thinks every horse he runs is a certainty , the horse has had enough for the season, needs a break but no doubt will be out again for the hunter chase meeting at cheltenham, needs to be layed
