Not hard enough according to the stewards

Mr Sam Lee, the rider of KARINGA DANCER, placed fourth, appeared to stop riding from after the last
fence. After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Mr Lee was suspended for 7 days for
failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible placing on a horse that
could have finished third.

i find what the stewards judged this ride as totally impossible to fathom ,,, while the horse was going forward i didnt see anything wrong with the ride , perhaps over enthusiastic , but as soon as its effort was over he let it come home as it wished , they wdnt have wanted the horse to suffer any harm , and they would def not be running the horse if it wasnt well at home , any signs of it not wanting to run , then races under rules def finished ,

only has 14 rides a year so it's effectively nothing.  He was only there to win the race as he had clearly been told the money was down, as soon as he couldn't win he just gave up.
