Would be good news for racecourse facetimers to face the courts as it would bring the fast pictures bonanza for the tracks into the headlines.
Facetiming is a large operation supplying countless as a business with a large revenue stream and no tax being declared. Not only a breach of copyright, but a facility to cheat at betting.
Surely its only time before one gets stopped on course and the phone and contacts extracted and the communications act used to find exactly who are getting supplied?

It amazes me how some people are either so blasse, or simply dont understand the law.
HMRC dont need a court order, and have the GCHQ at hand to track all communications if they are suspicious.
The Communications Act isnt just about pedos and terrorists, its also about tracking down anyone of interest who they consider to be affecting the economy through non payment of tax.
Racecourses wouldnt need to report fters, if the HMRC believed they wernt getting tax due they'd just audit the ones they were suspicious of. They even have the power to access bank accounts without your knowledge.

I was surprised to read how the first few cases have occured lately of individuals who have come from abroad with dodgy funds, and in the past London had a hard on for money defrauded from other countries where it would boost the economy for luxury items or property, well now they freeze the assets, take a cut (hmmm?) to cover expenses and actually hand the money back to the country from which they came from.

There's no bigger fraudsters than the Central banks and government. They gave us the term 'Quantitative Easing' pumping billions into the system (printing money out of thin air) and giving it to the banksters to buy up up all the bad debt that had been created through fraudulent financial mechanisms. In short, they have succeeded in achieving the biggest transfer of wealth to the elites that the world has ever seen.

The providers in the oldest profession pay taxes, does that mean HMRC obtained monies immorally? If so, services and projects funded with immoral earnings.

I think The BBC needs to be more proactive and take the TV Licence evaders to court. There are so many watching mainstream transmission on tv, laptop and mobile phones without a licence. Also, make the evasion a criminal offence. Knowingly and deliberately not having a TV licence is a form of fraud.
Should be a fairly simple way of monitoring it, you need to log in, from a registered address, like the I-Player.

If the prisons are full consider housing them in poly-tunnels or barracks which the inmates will have to pay for themselves. I honestly believe some prisons ought to be charged eg benefit and financial fraudsters and traffic offenders.
Next consider charging the repeat and self-inflicted users of the NHS eg smokers / heavy drinkers (cancer-related cases); fatties (non-hereditary but greedy and convenient food abusers). UK Plc and taxpayers cannot afford to continue to fund these categories of health and food abusers.

What the BBC gravy-trainers / individuals are doing / have done in the past should not be used to define the legitimacy and legality of possessing a TV Licence. There are so many householders I've come across without a TV Licence. Some are benefit recipients.
