I'm going away to Portugal until Sunday evening and would like to know if I'm able to place bets online whilst out there?

I have to disagree with Delta - assuming you mean bets on the BF Exch - I was in Portugal in January and February and the desktop site was splashed with a page telling me betting was banned from my location or words to the effect.

I've just downloaded tunnel bear and it doesn't have Portugal listed as one the countries, should I be worried or crack on?

Used to be fine - But as longbridge posts - Exchange has been blocked for around 18 months/2 years now

Could work, and save some hassle - Be interesting to know - if somebody were to try it. Make sure that the VPN is Switched ON - via/ in SETTINGS ... If ON a Blue Logo appears in the Address Bar. |

used to be able to access via phone ok, not sure on wifi but ok using mobile data, anyone got recent update?

You have to list yourself as being based in the UK. Tunnelbear should be ok I use Le VPN which does a seven day free trial. |

That still works, Elise. I was away last month.
So long as I logged on using the phones data, it still seemed to work through the wi-fi on the few occasions I forgot to switch them over. Logging straight in through the wi-fi won’t work. |

Most bookies won`t take bets from punters using VPNs.

Use the VPN to log onto the Racing Post and then bet with the bookies through them,its the only way to get on with some books.
