I'm with Virgin Media but I stream RTV for eff all currently.

Coverage generally 30 seconds behind but only use it for the preambles etc.

They have an app for your phone which is handy though i don't know how much bandwidth it will take up to watch a race

Had it for years then decided try without and you then find your freedom best thing ever and no amount of offers will get me back , you can watch betfair live and get replays for free, you dont need it but you think you need it

you can't full screen with betfair which is annoying

Agree with know all, what he says is spot on. There are too many negatives with the channel to pay for it.

You can full screen with BF, I have forgotten how you do it but I think you do something with ctrl key. Once done the setting remains. I have it full screen

depends on the browser, ctrl +/- is what you mean, in fox there's a symbol near top right 3 parallel lines, sometimes called a hamburger. in there there's a zoom option to increase size

I had no idea until last week that you cant watch on Freeview any more, they should be paying us to watch.

I have had emails and even letters posted to me offering £10 a month for 12 months in the last two weeks after cancelling around xmas time, i don't miss it one bit plenty of places to watch free.

thanks sparrow, I already use LV but I like to watch more than just the last couple of minutes before the off.  Why can't Racing TV provide web pics at the same speed as Betfair? It doesn't make sense!

Agreed revs, when people are paying top whack for the channel it's a disgrace that their TV pictures are behind the LV.

You have missed the point completely as we are talking about paying for pictures that are behind LV.

I joined their £12.50 per month offer 18 months ago. After the 12 month maturity they agreed another year at £12.50.

I still think they struggle with viewer numbers, due to the fact that they have sold off all the live racing feeds to the bookmakers. I still think its just about worth it to make a boring tuesday afternoon palatable, especially during the winter. Also you should get 2x2 free race tickets during the year at the very least. all in all excellent value.

To save other people ringing up and being disappointed, there are no tasty offers if you view RTV through miniboxes, the minimum is £24.99 a month.
Although some people are paying £34.99 for extra boxes and then you can get a discount to £24.99 but only if you ask obviously.

I've been paying £24.98 for ages, I have RTV downstairs and on Q box upstairs and I'm fine with that. I have had a club day every now and then and that saves a score or whatever it is so all good.

Every meeting should be on one channel ….imo.

I just have SkySports Racing on my TV included in my Virgin Media package and can watch any race that they cover live. As for replays for other meetings not covered by SkySports I can watch any live racing for free that's normally covered by Racing UK free (restricted to just the race only) using my BF account. Now they used to allow full screen viewing, but not anymore. When I try to expand the picture on my iPad using the old 2-finger spread method, when it gets to about half full screen the whole thing shuts down and I have to start again.

Yes we all know you can get pictures without RTV, But you can get tickets to go racing for 2 people on 100 days.
